How to Paint: YELLOW CAT EYES with Oil Paint or Acrylic Paint

Hey everyone
Welcome to another video!
Today I will be showing you how I paint luminous yellow cat eyes with oil paint.
But before we get started I just wanted to talk briefly about something new! Now lets get started!
Start off with your sketch, here I just free handed it onto my primed paper.
The next step is to work on the underpainting, mostly working wet-into-wet. I tend to make this step fairly monochromatic, and build up the colours afterwards with glazes.
Now that your underpainting is complete, let it dry completely. Working with smaller brushes now, work in those details.
And now for my favorite part - glazing! Mix up a variety of glazes using a medium such as Liquin by Winsor and Newton and some paint to add thin transparent washes of colour to your painting. Make sure the layers below are completely dry before doing this stage.
