Deer and Chrysanthemums - Oil Painting

Deer and Chrysanthemums - Oil Painting

Video Transcript

Hey guys

Welcome to another video

Today I'm going to be painting one of two sister pieces that go together, both featuring lovely lady deer with purple eyes.

The title of this dark beauty is "Of Tranquil Souls and Radiant Fires", and is my attempt at illustrating the synergistic effect of being true in your environment.

I started with my usual acrylic pour to start, the process of which is not seen here, before jumping in with oils. I wanted my shadows to have a heavy purple tone to them, so I was sure to mix my paint accordingly.
